Jenifer Sanderson Named Lt. Governor for Selzer Governor Campaign

Topeka, KS May 21, 2018 - Kansas Insurance Commissioner Ken Selzer, CPA, emphasizes his commitment to transforming the way the state does business by naming Goodland businesswoman and past chair of the Leadership Kansas Board of Trustees, Jenifer Sanderson as his lieutenant governor.

Jen Sanderson and her husband Kevin are small business owners. She spent much of her working career in the community banking and financial management industry. She is a graduate of Fort Hays State University and graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado.
Jen’s state and local leadership roles include being the Chairwoman of Leadership Kansas Board of Trustees, serving on the board of Sherman County Convention and Visitors Bureau and serving as President of the endowment foundation of Northwest Kansas Area Technical College.
Jen grew up in Plainville, Kansas as the daughter and granddaughter of oil producers. She is the first in her family to have earned a college degree. Jen and her husband Kevin have two children, Blake and Taylor.
